The Liberian Women Refugee Protest, February-March 2008

This brief report gives an account of the protest and the mediatory role that Population Caring Organization (PCO) and its international volunteers played in an attempt to bring the situation to an end. It also outlines the effects of the protest on PCO’s programs and its international volunteers, as well as the steps that are being taken to restart its programs for the benefit of the residents at Buduburam.
