An update about our works in Ghana and plans to move into Liberia

July 7

We are now working to reach Ghanaians through The West Africa Peace Village
Project in Aboansan. A parcel of land has been bought and clearing of the
land has began. Also, GVN Foundation has informed us that they will raise
funds to construct the academic education section of the village. This is a
huge beginning!!!

Our normal projects here in Ghana are ongoing.

Job opening for the position of a Country Director for Liberia is being
advertised in Liberia. Within the last 24 hours, I was able to receive an
application from a highly qualified 45 years old female with degree in
education. I hope to appoint our new country director by next week
Wednesday after screening and interviewing applicants.

As some of you have read (www.google.com search/fred barlue- United nations
missions in Liberia), PCO is also working seriously in Liberia. The
organization is implementing the multi-purpose youth center. The project is
being sponsored by the United Nations Missions in Liberia (UNMIL).
Although Fred Barlue (the man who has been in charge of our Liberia
operations) has not officially told us anything about the project,we got
the information through UNMIL news article. We are now in the process of
verifying the information.

In short, the organization is making progress!!!

Liberia is one of the places in the world that need attention and support.
This is why it is important to help us reach abandoned children, redirect
the lives of former child soldiers, restore the dignities of single
mothers, help heal the broken relationships among the 16 ethnic groups of
Liberia, and so on and so forth.
